AutoStract ("we", "us", "our") provides a Chrome extension and web dashboard that help marketers analyze competitor activity on Facebook. This page explains what data we collect, how it's used, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

What we collect

• Account data. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Auth0) shares your name and email address with us, whether you sign in with a username/password or a Google account.
• Scraped Facebook data. When you use the AutoStract Chrome extension while logged into Facebook, it reads posts, comments, and engagement data, profile and connection details, and Page/Group metadata (such as location, contact details, and category) from the Pages, Groups, and profiles you visit, and sends that data to our servers.
• Service-generated data. We generate and store records about your use of AutoStract, including scrape session names, timestamps, and record counts; scrape metadata such as your user ID, extension version, and session identifiers; and your daily usage counts against your query and scrape quotas.
• Usage and diagnostic telemetry. We use Microsoft Azure Application Insights to monitor performance and diagnose issues, which includes associating your user ID with backend request logs.

How your data is used and stored

Scraped Facebook data is uploaded to our servers and stored in Azure Blob Storage, then processed into a graph database that powers the dashboards and reports you see in your account. We do not sell your data or the data collected on your behalf to third parties, and we use it to provide the AutoStract service to you.

Your account's data — including any Facebook content collected on your behalf — is not accessible to or used by other AutoStract users. We may use data in an aggregated or anonymized form, combined across accounts so it can't be tied back to you, to improve the product.

Third parties we use

• Auth0 for authentication and login.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
• Microsoft Azure for hosting, storage, our database, and application monitoring (Application Insights).

How long we keep your data

We retain your account and scraped data for as long as your account is active. We do not currently offer automatic or self-service deletion.

Requesting deletion

To request deletion of your account and the data associated with it, email us at contact@autostract.com. We'll confirm your identity and delete your data within a reasonable time.
