These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AutoStract Chrome extension and web dashboard ("the Service"), operated by AutoStract ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

AutoStract is a Chrome extension and web dashboard that help marketers analyze competitor activity on Facebook, including posting cadence, engagement, and messaging.

Acceptable use

Using the extension to read organic Page and Group content on Facebook may violate Facebook's own Terms of Service, and could result in restrictions on the Facebook account you use it with. We're telling you this plainly: this is not an official Facebook integration, and Facebook has not endorsed it. Use of a secondary or non-primary Facebook account is one way to reduce the risk to an account you rely on. You are responsible for your own compliance with Facebook's terms and for any consequences to your Facebook account.

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to resell or redistribute scraped data in bulk to third parties, or to attempt to circumvent the usage quotas on your account.

Accounts and quotas

Your account is subject to daily usage limits on queries and scrapes, shown to you in the product. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse or attempt to circumvent these limits.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data collected through it will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoStract is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any action taken by Facebook against an account you use with the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are a placeholder pending formal legal review, and do not yet specify a governing jurisdiction.
